At the young age of 32, Elissa was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Following the advice of herdoctor, she began radiation but quickly realized that her body needed nourishment and that her fast paced stressful lifestyle needed to change.  Elissa began her healing journey by eating a plant based diet, juicing and practicing yoga.  Within a few months she was feeling better and cancer free.  Unfortunately, several years later her husband was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.  Marc chose a different route for his treatment.  Marc immediately began chemotherapy and radiation, spending the next 18 months in and out of the hospital as his immune system severely weakened.  At the age of 45 he died of an infection that his body could not fight.

Suzy was diagnosed with thyroid cancer 8 years ago.  Having a background in public health and research, she followed the traditional route of a thyroidectomy and radiation, wanting to do all she could to rid herself of cancer.  After her treatments were complete, her scans still showed lymph nodes that were thought to be involved with the tumor.  Not comfortable with the alternatives given to her by her doctors, she began researching alternative ways to heal her cancer.

Jared Buces was born with a heart defect and underwent a heart transplant at the age of four. To prevent rejection, he was forced to constantly take immune-suppresive drugs, In 2014, when he was 16, an emergency appendectomy, at the age of 16, revealed that Jared had stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma and he immediately began chemotherapy. His doctors told him that if he didn't follow through with his treatments he would be dead in 6 months, but one round of chemo produced such severe side effects that Jared felt he was going to die anyway. Jared prayed and his mom Lisa researched and together they decided to attack his cancer naturally. He is now cancer-free.
